Jeannine McConnell is a creative innovator. The high-tech diva is a senior leader and industry pioneer who is passionate about encouraging other women in and about technology careers.

Her four-decade tech career is full of highlights, including software development patents and global leadership roles. In 2018, she was charged with leading a team of global strategic partners at a company Forbes called ‘the most innovative in the world.’

An in-demand speaker and strategic consultant, Jeannine excels at shifting paradigms, offering solutions and tactical ways to find greater job satisfaction, solving day-to-day problems and changing the trajectory of engagement in technology careers.

Jeannine’s current project and passion is creating a body of work entitled “Open Your Own Doors” which will be a compilation of collected wisdom of women in technology careers from around the world.  

Jeannine is a perpetual creative, enjoying cooking, crafting and gardening. She’s a voracious reader, a world-traveler and hugger of grand babies. Jeannine, a cancer survivor, is a serial volunteer, and has donated her time ChickTech CLT, WISE Charlotte, Open Group, Pinnacle Forum and the Mooresville Christian Mission.

She is also involved with the Project Management Institute, IIBA, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt with a focus on transactional activity, and is ITIL certified. Jeannine is a contributing thought leader with the Business Relationship Management Institute and holds a BRMP certification. She is also a contributing member to the Open Group/IT4IT Reference Architecture, and has contributed to some of Microsoft Press’ best-selling publications on software engineering.
